Summary:
Exciting opportunity for a skilled Housing Services Manager to lead customer-focused housing services in Solihull, delivering excellence in tenancy management, income collection, and community engagement.
THE ROLE:
As the Housing Services Manager, you will oversee key housing services while driving performance, customer satisfaction, and strategic development.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and motivating teams in tenancy management, income collection, and money advice services.
  • Implementing a new Tenancy Policy and robust neighbourhood management strategies.
  • Maximising income collection and supporting tenancy sustainment initiatives.
  • Fostering multi-agency collaborations to enhance service delivery and outcomes.
  • Overseeing compliance with policies, regulations, and best practices, including safeguarding.
  • Managing budgets and ensuring value-for-money service delivery.
  • Deputising for the Head of Housing as required.

THE CANDIDATE:
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a senior housing services role, demonstrating exceptional leadership and customer focus.
Key requirements include:

  • A degree or professional housing qualification (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven ability to lead, manage, and inspire diverse teams to achieve high performance.
  • Strong knowledge of social housing legislation, particularly income collection and tenancy management.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders.
  • Analytical and organisational expertise, with a track record of achieving results in a dynamic environment.

THE CONTRACT:

  • Temporary
  • The pay range for the role is £35.00 per hour LTD company rate. The PAYE equivalent is £29.84 per hour, inclusive of holiday.
