£16.50 to £17.00 LTD / £14.07 to £14.49 PAYE (inc hol)
Join a dedicated Housing Association in Sunderland, providing a safe, compliant, and supportive environment for young people. We are looking for a motivated Housing Management Worker to maintain high property standards and support residents effectively.
THE ROLE
As a Housing Management Worker, you will ensure our properties are safe, compliant, and well-maintained. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Arranging and facilitating access for all health and safety compliance inspections
  • Overseeing gas servicing, fire risk assessments, and electrical testing
  • Conducting monthly fire safety checklists for each property
  • Reporting and following up on maintenance issues with landlords
  • Conducting weekly fire alarm testing and scheduling evacuation drills
  • Maintaining accurate records and checklists on OMNI
  • Raising and following up on repairs to maintain property standards
  • Engaging in joint working with support workers


THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar Housing Management role. We are looking for someone with:

  • A valid driver's license, own vehicle, and business insurance
  • Enhanced DBS certification
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage lone working situations
  • Experience in managing health and safety compliance within housing


THE CONTRACT
35 Hours Per Week, 09:00 to 17:30
12 Weeks, Temp to Perm
£16.50 to £17.00 per hour LTD company rate. The PAYE equivalent is £14.07 to £14.49 per hour, inclusive of holiday.
