Hours: 8am - 5pm including weekend work

The successful Healthcare Assistant will:

• Support females facing mental health issues, challenging behaviour, and complex needs within a secure environment.
• Provide high-quality care, including a considerable range of care that can include asthma, diabetes and epilepsy clinics, triage clinics, health screening, phlebotomy, mental health assessments, vaccinations, smoking cessation and sexual health.
• Provide first aid, taking vital signs, assisting with wound care, and administering medication under supervision.
• Collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.

Person Specification:

• Minimum 12 months experience in the UK as a Healthcare Assistant within a Mental Health setting, ideally within Forensic/Secure, NHS or Prison Settings.
• Disclosure Barring Service Certificate (DBS) on the online update service.
• Practical Basic Life Support and Paediatric Basic Life Support
• Applicants must have the full right to work in the UK and be available for consistent shifts.
