Service Care Solutions have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Gardener to work with a client we are working with in Morecambe.

Based out of Morecambe, you will be working for a Housing Association covering Morecambe and Lancaster on a 37 hour working week, carrying out the below duties:

• General cleansing, waste management, grounds maintenance and park keeping duties as directed by supervisor. This will consist of;
  • Mowing grass
  • Strimming
  • Hedge and shrub cutting
  • Leaf blowing
  • Litter picking
• Drive around housing estates ensuring grounds are maintained
• Developing and maintaining an excellent health and safety culture within the organisation and a high level of awareness amongst all staff working together towards zero accidents and work related ill health.
• Report any potential dangerous hazards or occurrences identified during the working day to line supervisor.
• Ensure that all hard standing and landscaped areas are maintained to the highest standard in line with agreed specifications, targets and timescales for action.
• Seek out and utilise customer feedback to help you deliver year on year improvements in customer satisfaction with services
• Respond positively and quickly to agreed standards to complaints and customer challenge in order to resolve the issues and to ensure that lessons are learnt.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant Health and Safety legislation and guidance at all times in relation to the delivery of services that are your responsibility.

Requirements:

• Previous Gardening experience.
• Be able to work outside in all weathers.
• Physically fit due to ground conditions.
• Hold a Full UK Driving License
• A good understanding of Health and Safety

Working hours:

• Monday to Friday 8am till 4:30pm
