Fund Management Contracts Manager

Job Description

Our Client based in Central London are currently seeking a Fund Management Contracts Manager to take ownership of a critical Fund Management Contract. The successful candidate will actively manage the existing contract, develop a robust performance monitoring framework, and contribute to the creation of the specification for a future contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced contracts Manager to join a local authority for approx 6 months on an ongoing hybrid role offering up £406 per day Umbrella LTD Inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the current Fund Management Contract with a value of up to £1m.
  • Establish and implement a robust system for performance monitoring.
  • Review the existing contract and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Draft and contribute to the specification for the upcoming contract.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Oversee and resolve contract disputes effectively.
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to KPIs.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • In-depth understanding of contract terms and conditions.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Expertise in risk management and financial analysis.
  • Effective conflict and dispute resolution capabilities.
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholders and build lasting relationships.
  • Experience managing large contracts with a value up to £1m.
  • Examples of building strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proven success in managing and resolving contract disputes - please provide details.
  • Demonstrated ability to create a specification for a contract.
  • Evidence of successful KPI management within contracts you've overseen.
  • Knowledge of contract law and performance frameworks for suppliers.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • CIPS qualification or significant experience managing high-profile or complex contracts.
