Estates and Facilities Manager

Job Description

Our client in North London is currently recruiting for a Soft Facilities Manager to join their estates services team as soon as possible.

This is a full time, temporary, ongoing contract offering £26 per hour Umbrella LTD (Inside IR35)

The purpose of the role is to ensure the Estate Services teams are provided with the highest levels of support in order to manage caretaking, Grounds Maintenance, Refuse and Recycling services on the estates.

Responsibilities:

  • To be responsible to the Service Delivery Manager, for the provision of administrative and support services to the Estate Services teams
  • To manage the communal key service, including programming of fobs, ensuring records are accurate and up to date and all required keys are stocked.
  • To provide operational support related to the management of caretakers; assist in the creation of team rotas and working arrangements for weekend working.
  • To deputise for the Service Delivery Manager as directed and working in association with Estate Services Area Managers
  • To liaise with Estate Services staff including caretakers in order to respond to the wide range of estate management queries.
  • Ensure all services are always provided to the highest standard.
  • Ensure that duties are undertaken with due regard and compliance with the General Data
  • Ensure legal, regulatory and policy compliance under GDPR, Health and Safety and in area of your specialism identifying opportunities and risks and escalating where appropriate.

Requirements:

  • Substantial proven experience of providing advice and practical assistance to the public
  • Ability to demonstrate a strong understanding of good customer care practices in order to resolve enquiries and complaints
  • Ability to take a flexible approach to team working, be self-motivated and be able to work on your own initiative
  • Ability to raise repairs orders and general service requests with service providers
  • Ability to meet performance targets.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and follow procedures, including work related to budgetary control
