Service Care Solutions are looking for an Employment Specialist to work with a client of ours in the Greater Manchester area on a permanent basis.

Job role/responsibilities:
The Employment Specialist will build trust and actively engage with a wide range of stakeholders, generate referrals, and support participants and their families or support circles. Through a multi-channel, multi-agency, and multi-location service model, they will empower participants to successfully complete their journey into employment and progress within the workplace.
Serve as the single point of contact for coordinating services for individual participants.
Work with participants to address barriers related to work, skills, health, and personal circumstances, supporting them towards sustainable employment.
Build strong relationships with participants to help them make informed choices and identify areas of support through vocational profiling, leading to a joint action plan.
Utilize a multi-channel platform (digital, video, telephony) to provide participants with flexibility in how and when they engage.
Use IngeusHub as the digital access point for all participants.
Connect participants to local services via a multi-agency approach, supported by the Partnership & Integration Manager and relevant Keyworkers.
Operate from local hubs, pop-up offices, or integrated services (e.g., housing, health centers) to enhance service accessibility.
Collaborate with the Personal Support Team (PST) assigned to each participant.
Promote engagement with the Social Prescription Network and apply individualized motivational skills.
Help participants prioritize solutions for personal circumstances, skills, health, and employability.
Facilitate groups on an ad hoc basis, as needed.
Advocate with employers to broker job opportunities tailored to participants' needs.
Provide disability awareness training and guidance to employers on reasonable adjustments and workplace support for participants.
Knowledge/Experience required:
Placing individual customers into suitable, sustained employment.
Experience in guidance, advice, and counselling.
Knowledge of issues affecting individuals with multiple barriers to employment.
Familiarity with support agencies for individuals with complex needs (e.g., debt, substance misuse, housing).
Experience in employment and work placement opportunities.
Experience working with people with complex needs, including health conditions and disabilities.
Ability to thrive in a target-driven environment focused on achieving job and sustained outcomes for Working Well customers.
