Job Vacancy: Deputy/Assistant Manager - Doncaster Adults Respite

Salary: £31,372 per year, plus 8.5% all-inclusive allowance
Location: Doncaster
Contract Type: Permanent (6-month probationary period)
Hours: Full-time (37 hours per week)

Doncaster Adults Respite is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Deputy/Assistant Manager to join our team. This exciting opportunity offers a competitive salary of £31,372 per annum, along with an 8.5% all-inclusive allowance. As part of our team, you'll play a vital role in the smooth running of our CQC-registered respite services, supporting individuals in a caring and compassionate environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the management and day-to-day operations of our adults' respite services.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and relevant legislation.
  • Lead by example, supporting a team and promoting best practices.
  • Oversee the care of individuals, ensuring their needs are met in a respectful, professional manner.
  • Be part of a flexible rota, which includes shifts from 7am-3pm, 2pm-10pm, sleep-ins, and every other weekend.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a management role, ideally in a CQC-registered setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of CQC regulations and relevant care sector legislation.
  • A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of care.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, as well as lead and motivate others.
  • Willingness to work on a shift rota, including sleep-ins and every other weekend.
