Service Care Solutions have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Manager to join a well established company. We have a position available in an EBD Children's home in Wolverhampton.


Positions:
Full time: 40 hours per week
Shifts:
Earlies, Lates, Long days, Sleeps. (Mixture of shifts and administrative time)
Salary:
Up to £37,000

What are the main duties of a Deputy Manager?

  • Autonomy for your own home
  • Manage and develop your own staff team, manage placement requests & Rota's
  • Have responsibility for the running of your shift as the main point of call, Lead a team on a day-to-day basis
  • Responsibility of decision making in line with policy and procedures and the individual's child's risk assessment
  • Ensure the homes documentation is complete, Accurate and kept up to date in accordance with policies and procedures
  • Promote therapeutic practice within the home - In line with our PACE model
  • Be a positive role model for the children in the home
  • Feel empowered and confident within your position
  • Show consistency and commitment to your assigned role
  • Report to Registered Manager


Skills & Qualifications
Essential

  • Experience of being in a Senior Residential Support Worker or Deputy Manager role in a children's residential home
  • Level 3/4 Diploma in Residential care
  • UK Driving License (Must be willing to commute)


Preferred (But not essential)

  • Level 5 Diploma Leadership & management in residential care (Willing to complete)
