Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people? We are looking for a dedicated Children’s Residential Support Worker to join a highly supportive team in the Bury area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people in a residential setting.
- Encourage positive behaviors and emotional well-being.
- Assist with daily routines, including education, activities, and independent living skills.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals to safeguard and promote the welfare of young people.
- Maintain accurate records and follow care plans effectively.
- Previous experience working with children or young people in a residential or similar setting is preferred.
- A compassionate and resilient approach to working with vulnerable individuals.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
- A Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards this) is desirable.
- A valid UK driver’s license is an advantage but not essential.
