Children’s Residential Support Worker – Bury Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Location: Bury
Job Type: Full-time, shift-based

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people? We are looking for a dedicated Children’s Residential Support Worker to join a highly supportive team in the Bury area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people in a residential setting.

  • Encourage positive behaviors and emotional well-being.

  • Assist with daily routines, including education, activities, and independent living skills.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals to safeguard and promote the welfare of young people.

  • Maintain accurate records and follow care plans effectively.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children or young people in a residential or similar setting is preferred.

  • A compassionate and resilient approach to working with vulnerable individuals.

  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.

  • A Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards this) is desirable.

  • A valid UK driver’s license is an advantage but not essential.
