Compliance Officer

Our Client based in the Public Sector are currently recruiting for a Compliance Officer to join team as soon as possible.

This is a full time, temporary, ongoing role offering up to £28.56 per hour Umbrella LTD.

The purpose of the role is to sit within the compliance team, support the Hard FM statutory compliance program for all Corporate Buildings to ensure all surveys and planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) are being completed, appropriate documentation received, filed correctly and reviewed to put forward any recommendations requiring remedials to appropriate decision makers to assist in maintaining the council's statutory responsibility following both the council's and industry best practise standards.

Requirements:

  • Must be punctual, reliable and handle own work load.
  • A good team player with a good work ethic, flexible approach and able to work without direct supervision with ability to create and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills together with an enthusiastic, professional telephone manner with strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to produce quality work and manage time effectively.
  • The ability to thrive in a busy and fast paced environment.
  • Previous experience in a similar compliance role is desirable.
  • Evidence of working within and supporting a team to achieve excellent customer service.
  • Demonstrable IT literacy with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel & Outlook
  • Demonstrable accurate data entry skills with excellent attention to detail to update a CAFM system with relevant notes, assign work order directly to engineers and approved service contractors and to follow up with such team to ensure each work order is closed down in a timely manner.
  • To communicate effectively with customers, both internally and externally for the capture, recording and distribution of service calls onto the helpdesk database utilising the council's helpdesk software.
