Commercial Laundry Engineer

Job Description

We working with one of the fastest growing service and repair companies who provide support for all major manufacturers of commercial laundry equipment. Their main client base consisting of Care Homes, Hospitals and 5 Star Hotels.

Basic up to £38,000 / 40hr working week / Door to door pay / Paid overtime / Bonus Scheme / Van & Fuel Card

The Job:

In your new role, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of a wide range of commercial Laundry equipment and will be confident in repairing: Commercial Tumble Dryers, Commercial Washing Machines, Coin Operated Tumble Dryers and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service, maintenance and repair of commercial Laundry equipment
  • Fault finding on both electrical and gas commercial Laundry equipment
  • Field based meeting clients - Customer facing position

Essential Qualifications / Experience:

  • Commercial ACS Gas Laundry Qualifications: CLE1 / CCLNG1 / CONGLP1PD / COCCLNG1
  • Relevant electrical experience (18th, 17th edition electrics would be an advantage)
  • Recent experience working on Commercial Laundry Equipment
  • Full Driver's Licence

Package:

  • Basic Salary from £35,000 to £38,000 (dependant on experience)
  • 40 hour week Monday - Friday
  • Paid door to door
  • Bonus scheme in place (£5.00 per pocket for compliance servicing)
  • Quarterly performance bonus (£500 if all targets are met)
  • Overtime paid at time and half Monday to Saturday and double time on Sundays and Bank holidays.
  • 1 in 4 Weekend rota which is on an on call basis, Saturdays on call till 1pm £50 on call payment Sundays on call till 10am £25 on call payment and bank holiday on call till 10am £50 on call payment.
  • Weekend rota is currently one in five weekends but we advertise one in four just in case we have to change it in the future
