Rate Of Pay: up to £60,000 Per Year (Dependent on experience)

We are currently looking to fill a Clinical Lead position for a dual registered Care Home
Key Skills and Qualities We Are Looking For:
Clinical Expertise:

  • Current NMC registration and a strong clinical background in elderly care, dementia care, or complex needs.
  • Proven ability to lead and support nursing teams to deliver high standards of care.

Leadership Skills:

  • Experience in a supervisory or management role within a care home or healthcare setting.
  • Confident in mentoring and coaching staff, ensuring professional development across the team.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with residents, families, multidisciplinary teams, and external agencies.
  • Ability to handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalism.

Commitment to Compliance:

  • A thorough understanding of regulatory requirements (CQC standards) and a proactive approach to maintaining quality assurance.
  • Experience in developing, implementing, and reviewing care plans and risk assessments.

Personal Attributes:

  • Compassionate, approachable, and resident-focused.
  • Highly organised, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

Supernumerary Hours and Weekly Schedule:

  • The Clinical Lead role will include supernumerary hours, particularly during the initial onboarding period and when carrying out specific management tasks, such as audits, care plan reviews, and team training. The weekly schedule typically consists of 40 hours, split between clinical and supernumerary duties, though this may vary depending on the needs of the care home.

Interview Process:
Our interview process is two-stage:

  • Stage 1: An initial virtual or phone screening to discuss the candidate's background, motivations, and alignment with our expectations.
  • Stage 2: A face-to-face interview, including a tour of the care home, discussion of responsibilities, and scenario-based questions to evaluate clinical and leadership skills.
