About the Role:
We are looking for a reliable Cleaner/Domestic/Housekeeper to join our Facilities & Environmental Services team. You will play a vital role in ensuring that our premises are clean, hygienic, and well-maintained, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment.
Cleaner/Domestic/Housekeeper Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning duties across designated areas, including offices, communal spaces, and restrooms.
- Maintain high hygiene standards by dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces.
- Replenish supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and cleaning products.
- Safely operate cleaning equipment and follow health and safety procedures.
- Report any maintenance or security concerns to the relevant department.
- Adhere to all Council policies and procedures, including health & safety and equality standards.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or a similar role (preferred but not essential).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to cleanliness.
- Understanding of health & safety regulations in a cleaning environment.
- Physical fitness for manual tasks and prolonged periods of activity.
