Children's Senior Residential Support Worker - Salford
Salary: From £13.50 per hour

We are currently recruiting two Senior Residential Support Workers to join a well-established private children's residential service in Salford. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career in a supportive and rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide care, support, and guidance to children and young people in a residential setting.
  • Lead and mentor a team of support workers, ensuring best practices in care and safeguarding.
  • Promote a positive, safe, and nurturing environment where young people can thrive.
  • Support young people with daily activities, education, and emotional well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with external professionals, including social workers, education providers, and healthcare teams.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to care plans to support each young person's individual needs.

Requirements:

NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) - Essential
UK Driving Licence - Essential
✅ Previous experience working in a children's residential home at a senior or leadership level.
✅ Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
✅ Ability to build positive relationships and provide emotional and behavioural support.
