Childcare Lawyer

Service Care Solutions are currently working alongside a local authority, based in Devon, which is in need of a Childcare Lawyer to join their team. In this role, you will lead on complex childcare cases, providing expert legal advice and representation. This role requires a proactive approach and a deep commitment to child welfare.

This role is on a Hybrid basis on a 3 month ongoing contract paying a rate off £50 - £55 an hour umbrella

Key Responsibilities as a Childcare Lawyer:

  • Manage caseload in an area of law allocated.
  • To respond to requests for advice, representation etc, from Devon County Council employees.
  • To manage all aspects of court representation as required.
  • Advise and/or present to courts, meetings, members at formal appeal hearings or as required by the County Solicitor

About You as a Childcare Lawyer:

  • Qualified Lawyer with at least 3 years PQE in childcare Law
  • Extensive experience in childcare law, ideally within a local authority setting.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
