Rate: £26 umbrella an hour (£21 PAYE an hour)
Achieving For Children are looking for a Child and Family Help Practitioner to join their Social Care and Early Help Directorate.
Responsibilities:
- Focusing on supporting children, young people and families who need targeted early help as well as more specialist interventions, including work with children in need.
- The aim of the service is to help prevent an escalation of more serious concerns and referrals into Child Protection services.
- Work with children and families in either Richmond or Kingston boroughs within both the early help and statutory frameworks
- Deliver high quality interventions aligned with assessment, planning and intervention framework and London Safeguarding Procedures
- Plan, coordinate and deliver targeted support for families
- Conduct comprehensive whole family assessments, maintain clear professional boundaries, establish realist goals with families, and meticulously record all interventions
Requirements:
- GCSE Grade A-C in English Language and Mathematics
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Experience of working with children or young people
