About the Role: As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for providing high-quality maintenance and repair services to council properties. Your work will involve a variety of carpentry tasks, including:
- Installation, maintenance, and repairs of doors, windows, and general woodwork.
- UPVC installation and property maintenance.
- Small works in other trade areas such as basic plumbing, plastering, or decorating.
- Liaising with residents, peers, and colleagues to ensure excellent customer service.
- Experience in carpentry and property maintenance within a social housing or similar environment.
- Knowledge of UPVC installation would be an advantage.
- A practical understanding of the construction and property maintenance industry.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, as you will be engaging with residents and colleagues daily.
