Pay Rates: £45.00 per hour Umbrella / £33.15 per hour PAYE

Security Clearance: BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard)
About the Role:
Service Care Solutions is recruiting 10 ad-hoc BSL Interpreters to support a Post Room operative employed by the Ministry of Defence (MOD). This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a flexible pool providing on-demand interpreting services.
As a BSL Interpreter, you will work closely with the Post Room and delivery teams, assisting in communication across a wide range of situations, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- BSL to English and English to BSL communication with Post Room colleagues.
- BSL to English and English to BSL communication during postal deliveries.
- Interpreting phone calls, meetings, and written communications.
- English proof-reading and translation support.
- Assist with the receipt and distribution of mail around DST working areas.
- Assist with staff development opportunities within the Post Room.
- Comfortable travelling as a passenger in a van while delivering mail.
Qualified BSL Interpreter with a minimum Level 6 BSL qualification.
Registered with RBSL1/NRCPD.
Proof of Professional Indemnity Insurance.
DBS Check completed within the last 3 years.
Flexibility to work ad-hoc hours based on operational needs.
