Position: Agency Band 7 Children's Advisor
Rate: £30 per hour
Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 7 Children's Advisor to join our team on an agency basis. This role is crucial in providing expert safeguarding support and supervision, helping to ensure the safety and well-being of children in our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide ad hoc and supportive safeguarding consultations via email and phone.
- Attend strategy meetings with the local authority to contribute to safeguarding planning and interventions.
- Deliver one-to-one and group safeguarding children's supervision, ensuring compliance with best practices.
- Facilitate Level 3 safeguarding children's training via Microsoft Teams, adhering to intercollegiate guidelines.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Children's Nurse or demonstrable experience working within a Safeguarding Children Team.
- Proven experience in a safeguarding team, with a strong understanding of safeguarding protocols and practices.
- Training qualifications in safeguarding adults and children's Level 3, in line with intercollegiate documents.
- Ability to provide effective supervision with a relevant training qualification.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
