Service Care Solutions are looking for a dedicated Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our clients' rehabilitation service at Heathy House. If you are passionate about supporting individuals with complex mental health needs and promoting recovery, this is the perfect opportunity for you! As an Occupational Therapist, you’ll be at the heart of our clients' mission, helping service users regain independence, confidence, and a meaningful place in the community.

Location: Halifax, West Yorkshire
Hours: 37.5 hours per week | Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (30-minute break)
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per annum (Dependent on experience)

The service provides a step-down residential rehabilitation service, supporting individuals on their journey towards independence. The state-of-the-art, modern and spacious environment features:

About the Role As a Band 6 Occupational Therapist, you will:
✔ Deliver high-quality OT interventions that foster independence and well-being.
✔ Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop personalised care plans.
✔ Conduct assessments to identify strengths and challenges in daily living activities.
✔ Provide both one-to-one and group therapy sessions to enhance social participation.
✔ Lead the development of OT pathways and contribute to service-wide improvements.
✔ Occasionally travel to support our multisite services.

Key Responsibilities
🔹 Manage a diverse caseload under the guidance of the Lead Occupational Therapist.
🔹 Develop, implement, and review therapy goals tailored to each service user.
🔹 Promote community engagement through meaningful activities.
🔹 Mentor support staff and offer fieldwork placements for OT students.

Who We’re Looking For to excel in this role, you’ll need:
🔹 A Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration.
🔹 At least 3 years’ post-graduate experience, including 2 years in mental health settings.
🔹 A passion for rehabilitation and community integration.
🔹 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport.
🔹 A proactive, solution-focused approach with a drive for continuous improvement.
