We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced Resident Services - ASB Coordinator to join the Housing team at a Local Authority in Harrow. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a direct impact on the local community by tackling anti-social behaviour and supporting safer neighbourhoods.
THE ROLE
As an ASB Officer, you will be responsible for the investigation and enforcement of anti-social behaviour across the borough in line with legislation and local policy.
- Conduct investigations and take enforcement action against ASB in compliance with relevant legislation
- Provide guidance and support to Housing Officers on low and mid-level ASB cases
- Liaise and work in partnership with external agencies to enhance community safety
- Prepare statements of evidence and attend court to support legal proceedings
- Draft legal notices, fixed penalty notices, and warning letters as required
- Deliver professional, expert advice to residents, stakeholders and Council Members
- Contribute to strategy and policy development to reduce ASB in the borough
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar ASB enforcement role within a local authority or related setting.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of ASB legislation and enforcement procedures
- Experience investigating and managing ASB cases, including preparation for court
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Competent IT skills and the ability to use standard systems and technical databases
Temporary – 3 months
Hybrid working available
The pay range for the role is £25.00 to £27.00 per hour LTD company rate. The PAYE equivalent is £21.31 to £23.02 per hour, inclusive of holiday.
