About Sophie

Give us a brief overview of your professional background...

Prior to SCS I completed a degree in Business and Psychology at the University of Chester and alongside this I worked for 3 years in retail within a busy department store.

What roles do you recruit for and in which areas?

I have been at Service Care Solutions for nearly 8 years and I am one of the Senior Divisional Managers on the Social Work division. I manage a team of Team Leaders and Recruitment Consultants who recruit for Qualified and Unqualified Social Work staff across the north of the UK.

What's your favourite quote/piece of advice you've ever been given?

"Apparently, the world is not a wish granting factory" – John Green.

If you weren't so darn good at your job at Service Care Solutions you'd probably be...

A Primary School Teacher.

Lastly, when you're not in work, where can we find you?

Socialising (basically drinking/eating anywhere I can); spending time with my husband and my dog; re-watching Brooklyn Nine-Nine for the 25th time; and reading.
