About Paul

Firstly, how long have you been with Service Care?

I started in June 2023.

And what does your day-to-day role involve?

I cover the east side of the UK from Just Below Scotland down to Cambridge. I am part of the Substance Misuse team within Service Care’s Criminal Justice team. It is my job to recruit for all roles related to this. From Recovery Workers to Site Managers.

Give us a brief overview of your professional background...

Prior to this role I worked in the Criminal Justice Sector for the Probation Service. I was a Probation Service Officer during this time.

If you weren't working in recruitment, what would you be doing?

I would still be working for the Probation Service, working face-to-face with ex-Offenders.

Using only 3 words, how would you describe Service Care?

Accepting, Driven, and Growing.

What's your favourite quote/piece of advice you've ever been given?

When cutting a tree down, It is not the final chop that cuts the tree down (achievements) but all the chops that came before (hard work and determination).

Lastly, when you're not at work, where can we find you?

Playing Golf, Watching Sports, and Spending time with Friends/ family.
