Commercial Lawyer

Service Care Legal are currently working alongside a government body, located in Bristol, which is in need of a skilled Commercial Lawyer to join their team.

ROLE: Commercial Lawyer

LOCATION: Bristol - hybrid working

CONTRACT: 6 months

RATE: £270per day

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct both contentious and non-contentious work
  • Work in procurement law and advise on contractual litigation and contractual disputes
  • Advise on contractual interpretation, data protection and Freedom of Information requests
  • Prepare and advise on grants and funding agreements, Collaboration Agreements and Memorandum of Understandings

Requirements:

  • Qualified Lawyer with experience in public law, contract law, procurement, grants and funding
  • Ability to advise on contractual interpretation, data protection and Freedom of Information requests
  • Experience in preparing and advising on grants and funding agreements, Collaboration Agreements and Memorandum of Understandings
  • Ability to advise on contractual litigation and contractual disputes
  • Experience in managing a range of valued claims including Small Claims and Multi-Track high value disputes
